I include child development in my 6th grade curriculum. As a class we talk about the role of the parent and their duties, responsibilities, and qualifications. We speak about neglect within this unit. In 8th grade we talk about nutrion and healthy eating. We also speak of neglect in the case of food and nutrion in the home. As educators we have to keep our eyes open and I try to tell my students about it because I am training them for babysitting. They need to be aware as well.","replyPages":[{"page":0,"digests":[],"more":0}]}],"more":false},"comments":[]},"http":{"code":200,"status":"OK"},"redirectUrl":null,"javascript":null,"notices":{"warning":[],"error":[],"info":[],"success":[]}}
